Contest Rules
The subsequent guidelines pertain to participation in the I LOVE YOU, GOD Online Monthly Still Art Competitions and Exhibitions. Kindly peruse and adhere to these regulations and procedures for proper application. It's recommended to align with the theme of each monthly contest, as this holds crucial significance for artists. If any queries arise regarding the theme's interpretation, feel free to contact us at artcompetition@iloveyougod.net, and we'll assist you with the application procedure.
The I Love You, God Art Competition is inclusive of artists from the United States and internationally. There are no age restrictions for artists who wish to partake.
a. Each participant is limited to submitting a maximum of four images.
b. The Still Art Competition welcomes both Amateur and Professional artists.
c. Both 2D and 3D artworks are eligible.
d. Images must be submitted in JPEG format.
e. You may submit the same still art in different months unless it has won previously in an I LOVE YOU, GOD Online Competition.
f. You may enter works of art that have won awards in other Art Competition shows which are not sponsored by the I LOVE YOU, GOD Art Contest.
g. Your art must be your original concept and not a copy of anyone else's copyrighted material.
h. You may only submit the artwork that you created.
i. The Sponsor has the sole right to refuse submissions based on the quality of the image, failure to meet show requirements, poor quality, the inappropriateness of content, and concerns regarding copyright infringement in the original work. As a result, the participant shall be disqualified.
SUBMISSION Rules
Prepare your images as required before beginning the submission process. Submissions are only accepted via the online process. Participants should upload their art images on the website iloveyougod.net.
Digital image files must meet the following specifications
a. JPG files only.
b. 300 DPI resolution (Please try to keep the file size under 3 MB to ensure proper loading).
c. Do not send images of your artwork that has been framed or contains watermarks.
d. I LOVE YOU, GOD art Competition organizer may color correct your images to enhance the overall presentation
e. I LOVE YOU, GOD art Competition organizer may crop your images for formatting purposes for use in their slideshow presentations, other off-site slideshows, YouTube presentations, other I LOVE YOU, GOD Art Gallery Online presentations, and for different areas of the website if your images are chosen.
f. The sizing and labeling of your images are essential. Label your image files in the following manner: first and last name, image name, the medium used, size, and year created. Here is an Example: JohnBrown_Midnight_Photography_8x10_2017.
g. The file name may not include characters such as #, $, &, periods, or other similar characters as part of the file. Following these instructions about the file name is essential to allow the proper storage in the image database.
h. Image name may not exceed 40 characters. Note: the image name is the name of the artwork, not the file name.
i. Complete the entire form and load all images before sending the upload. If the submitted photos are not appropriately sized, the artist understands that the I LOVE YOU, GOD art organizer may have to crop the images to conform to the format constraints.
*Paintings must be created in physical media (no digital "paintings"). Acceptable media include oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, pencil, pen, etc. Experimental and mixed techniques are also acceptable, as long as 75% of the work uses some paint, pen, or pencil. Note – this pertains to monthly Art Competitions explicitly stating, "No Photography."
VOTING Rules
1) Votes may be cast by any visitor to iloveyougod.net (members and non-members).
2) You may only vote once per image.
3) You may vote for as many images as you like, but only once for any given image.
4) The Voting will be counted from YouTube as well.
